Finished?

Is this game finished?  It is FAR less enjoyable than the original Sins!  Balance is off, ships disappear. Options are much more limited. Why does the AI not consider that when enemy ships are in the same planet system, that they should defend it? When you attack them, they just sit there and trade punches. There is no doubt who will win the contest. Whoever has greater firepower will outlast the other guy. There is NO tactical game at all. 

 

Is the game purchased through Epic the same as that purchased from Stardock directly? If so, why can I not register my purchase with Stardock?
