Custom map/galaxy generation?

I just got the game on Steam and being a fan of the previous installation, seeing how much Sins 2 improves upon Rebellion, I was quite surprised that there's no custom galaxy setup in the game!

Yes, there's Random Maps, but you can't customize the number of planets, resource level, number of stars, presence of wormholes and other aspects of the galaxy.

Are there any official news about whether this feature is coming in the near future?
