(Test edition only) Core Stripper animation skipped when not in main view

Should I be in a distant gravity well or currently zoomed out of map while core strip is in progress the animation will be skipped on attempting to change view to the planet/asteroid. It only plays if my camera view is within the gravity well before core stripping occurs.
