Plasma Storm Disables Missile Weapons but Missile Barrage Works

Apologies if this has already been reported and\or it's not considered a bug.

 

I used the Marza Dreadnought's Missile Barrage in a Plasma Storm but noticed the Negative Buffs due to the environment listed Missile Weapons Disabled. How can one fire a missile barrage when missile weapons are disabled? It's probably a special abilities v weapons distinction but logically it shouldn't work right? 

 

Am I just being pedantic given there is another environment - apologies the name escapes me just at present, where special abilities like Missile Barrage are disabled, but (regular) missiles work?
