Improving AI

I often read comments related to inappropriate AI behavior. Now it's my turn to tell a sad little story. I recently played for TEC against Vasari Alliance and Advent. The difficulty level was the highest. 'Home planet victrory' option was enabled. Two hours later I decided to visit Vasari. By the way, during this period of time Vasari probed me only once but they escaped in time. So, my fleet was on the move. Vasari's home planet was two phase jumps away from my asteroid. When my fleet was already in the backyard, Vasari's small fleet decided to greet me. This step was more wrong than right. The AI also detects any movement. I hope. At least any movement within two phase jumps. The relevant researches should have already been completed by that time. So, my fleet led by a titan was about three times the size of the fleet that the Vasari had deployed against me. But this fleet did not engage me. Vasari's ships silently flew past their planet, which was being destroyed by my fleet. Then another group of ships appeared and they also quickly fled somewhere. Attention! I was already near their home planet. So, without encountering any resistance, I ended up on their planet. I was greeted by a lone starbase and several turrets. That's it! I was very surprised when I did not find a phase gate in the gravity well. This is nonsense! The AI should think about this first. And this is the second such case in my memory. But the most interesting thing is ahead. Where was the main Vasari fleet when I flew up to their home planet? They were on the other side of the galaxy. The Vasari should have reacted instantly when my fleet began to move, being two phase jumps away from their home planet. For some unknown reason, they temporarily stopped and engaged in battle with the merchant caravans and their convoy. The gravity well was neutral. It belonged to Eivonn. They couldn't be stuck there.
In version 1.49.2, you fixed major AI issue that would cause the AI to forget its primary mission when encountering enemies in a gravity well it’s traveling through. Update 1.49.6 is cumulative, isn't it? Then why is this problem still relevant?
