Is there a mod that turns Sins II back into Rebellion?

Basically just a 64 bit multi-threaded version of Rebellion that can run mods without slowing down or crashing in late game. Maybe improved mod support. Improved single player AI strategy would also be welcome. Maybe 6 additional new factions to choose from. All I hoped for was a better Rebellion.
