Achievement Bugged

I have a question regarding a certain achievement that I can't seem to get or it's bugged. It is the dust and echoes achievement for Exodus Vasari. I play on large maps against the AI, and strip-core mine 30 planets. this includes asteroids, ice moons, and ice asteroids etc. I just want to know if I am missing something regarding this achievement. My games are being listed as valid when I first start a match, so I know my wins are being recorded. But I'm still not getting anything. I have played this scenario multiple times, with different settings, including one with everything on normal. What am I doing wrong?
I have validated my steam files as well. I honestly don't know what else to do.
